My wife and I are so proud to have raised our family here in Agoura Hills. Having grown up in South Florida, I left home to attend the United States Military Academy at West Point. Following my service as an Army Officer, I earned a law degree from University of Florida as well as a Masters in Business Administration from Cornell University.
I turned my education into an opportunity to help improve the lives of patients suffering from life-threatening diseases. I am proud of my work at Amgen as a Government Accounts Executive. My beautiful wife of 28 years has committed herself to our school system and currently works as a Media Specialist for the Las Virgenes Unified School District.
The Anstead family has a long history of public service and it continues to be a big part of my life. My father's contributions such as founding of the Urban League in Palm Beach County and his service as Chief Justice of the Florida Supreme Court, inspired me to serve my community.
My mother has also dedicated her life to child advocacy and her service to multiple charities including her position as the Former Chairwoman of her local chapter of the Boys and Girls Club continues to motivate me everyday.
I am proud and honored to be involved in the local community. I have served as President for my church’s charitable organization where I helped raise money for many worthy causes. I have had the privilege of serving on the Agoura Hills Planning Commission and helped ensure our community balances development and preservation of our beautiful environment.
